Project MOVE is just what it says, a Project and a Movement. The “Project” is you; to create the ultimate version of you. The “Movement” is a community of people who have decided that ‘easy’ will not get you where you want to go.


By definition, a PROJECT, is an undertaking requiring considerable and concerted effort.
By definition, a MOVEMENT is a dedicated group of inspired people who, through perseverance, cause change.

The Project.



The Project is you. ProjectMOVE is an original concept, health and fitness facility that transcends the common “gym” or “health club”. It’s a new wave prototype training environment designed to offer the athlete an equal amount of support and challenge for maximal results. If you have not considered yourself an athlete before, your Project is to unveil the athlete inside. If you consider yourself an athlete the Project is to produce a champion. We are located in Littleton, Colorado and specialize in CrossFit, functional fitness training, yoga and sports performance.

By thoroughly assessing your current baseline level of physical fitness and creating a safe and accurate starting point, you will have the best chance for maximal results while simultaneously limiting the two reasons why most exercise programs fail: injuries or quitting.

Once your capabilities are measured and defined, you will be challenged and supported to progress from that point on. The 10 elements of ‘A Fitness State of Mind’ will the basis for the exercise programming you receive and participate in at ProjectMOVE.

This is true cross-training. We have a strong commitment to the fundamentals of human movement. We borrow from a broad range of sports, workouts, routines and methods including gymnastics, yoga, bodyweight exercises, suspension training, outdoor training, interval, surge and burst training, plyometrics and weight training; including Olympic lifting. You may learn to utilize kettlebells, Tabata exercises, medicine balls, a jump rope, battling rope or a rowing machine. You may even team up and help flip a 700 pound tractor tire.

You will get better, stronger, faster, and healthier. Whether you want to build muscle, burn fat, lose weight or totally transform; through classes, coaching, skills development and camaraderie with other members and coaches, we provide an environment conducive to mental and physical self development.

Building strength of character is every bit a part of the program as building a strong, fit and healthy body. You will learn how not to quit. We believe that the pursuit of health and fitness is a Project, an undertaking, and a means to living a meaningful life. Through classes, coaching, skills development and most of all the ProjectMOVE community you will experience an environment beneficial to building a “Fitness State of Mind”.


The Movement.



The MOVEMENT is us. We are stronger together. We invite you to blaze new territory of health and fitness with us.  This vision is beyond us, we will never see the absolute fruits of our labor, but our children will. Today’s 10 year olds are the first generation expected to have a shorter life expectancy than us, their parents.  Our community has stopped moving. The costs to our society are unendurable.  The costs to our children are inexcusable.  It is time to change, to help parents demand the absolute best of them selves so their children can learn by their example. Our capabilities are beyond our imagination – it won’t be easy but it will be worth it. Support + Challenge = Growth. Somedays you will need to lend a hand, other days you will grab one. That is the MOVEMENT.

Fitness is not an activity or state of body, it is a state of mind. A ‘Fitness State of Mind’ is ready to grace anyone willing to accept it. It is a choice. It is a way of living. At ProjectMOVE, fitness is not something to be achieved; it is something to be experienced.

ProjectMOVE is an original concept, health and fitness facility that transcends the common ‘gym’ or ‘health club’. It’s a new wave functional fitness training community designed to offer every person an equal amount of support and challenge for maximal results.

 At ProjectMOVE our trainers will assess your current baseline level of fitness. That’s your starting point. Once your capabilities are measured and defined, you will be challenged and supported to progress from that point on. The 10 Elements of Functional Training and Optimum Physical Fitness will be introduced to you through the exercise regimen in our class offerings such as CrossFit, functional fitness, sports performance training and/or yoga

The 10 Elements of ‘A Fitness State of Mind’ are a unique aspect of ProjectMOVE and will serve as the foundation for creating the environment and community that is instrumental to your success.

Endurance

Sustained focus over time. We have trouble staying focused, we bounce around from one thing to another, never finishing anything. We have great intentions but don’t endure.  We can change that.

Stamina

The ability to sustain prolonged physical or mental effort. Sometimes referred to as ‘staying power’, or fortitude, the ability to push through fatigue to reach your goals.

Strength

A commitment to ones deepest values, regardless of circumstance. The ability to withstand hardship, stress and pressure.

The ability to move freely along a wide spectrum of emotions and not lose focus. Capable of being bent without breaking. Responsive to change.

The ability to act or accomplishing something with confidence. By testing your boundaries and limits as we exercise, we push through those self imposed barriers so we can achieve what we may have previously thought impossible.

The ability to make quick decisions. The speed with which the mind selects appropriate actions to a multitude of situations.

Coordination

In our natural state, our minds and bodies function together and we are able to harmonize with our environment. Modern life poses many challenges to this natural state. We think when we should be feeling, sit when we should be standing, work when we should be resting. At ProjectMOVE combining and coordinate body and mind in movement; it’s the core of our programming.

The ability to think and draw conclusions quickly. Quickness and flexibility in activity and thinking. The ability to be creative with problem solving.
